EuroPCR & EAPCI what is the link?

The European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) is one of the 5 Associations of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). It was formally launched in September 2006 from a joint venture between the ESC Working Group on Coronary Interventions and EuroPCR.

Our Mission: "To reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease in Europe through PCI".

Our Structure: a synergy between the ESC, EuroPCR Course and EuroIntervention Journal.

Membership: EAPCI Membership is open to ALL health care professionals for whom percutaneous cardiovascular intervention is the primary activity, including allied professions. In addition to joining an efficient & interactive European Interventional Cardiology Network, membership benefits include restricted access to interventional grants, voting rights in the EAPCI elections and automatidc access to ESC membership benefits. Join us and get involved within EAPCI!

Our Assets: Two websites offering specific information content and linked to each other.
www.escardio.org/EAPCI which remains integrated in the global picture of mainstream cardiology. A variety of items can be found including professional news, information about congresses, deadlines for- and results of- grant applications, relevant documents and guidelines and membership information.
www.europcronline.com: the source for scientific and technical information, largely but not exclusively derived from the knowledge base presented during EuroPCR courses.

Our Official Journal: EuroIntervention Journal Our journal has grown to become a unique source of information, including a strong electronic content, appropriate for a rapidly moving field like ours. Most importantly, EuroIntervention is now indexed in MedLine / PubMed.

Our Annual Course: EuroPCR Much has been said about our annual meeting. Suffice it to say that EuroPCR is now recognised as having become the largest, worldwide meeting on cardiovascular interventions, with a critical focus on patient-centred issues and interdisciplinary cross-talk.
