endovascular peripheral intervention

Young medical fellows have the opportunity to apply for a 1-year learning experience on endovascular peripheral interventions at a leading institution in Europe. Initiated by Invatec and endorsed by EuroPCR, since its first edition in 2005, this Educational Grant remains well aligned with the commonly shared values of education and long-term credibility in pursuing the objectives of training and education as key success factors in the rapidly evolving field of endovascular interventions.

Nomination of the 2007 grant winner will be announced as part of the Peripheral opening session in Room 2 at 15:40 on Tuesday 22nd May in Barcelona. One award (12,500 Euros) will be available through an unrestricted educational grant from Invatec.

The fellowship aims to provide an opportunity for specialized research and/or training, especially when it is difficult or impossible to learn particular techniques of peripheral intervention in the applicant’s own country. Any European resident or citizen can apply and graduates should have completed the major part of their medical training or have equivalent academic grade. The fellow will receive a sum of 12,500 Euros for their daily subsistence.
